A delegation from the Kalthum Foundation for Peace, led by its Chairman, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Muhammad Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu, made a formal visit to the Honorable Minister of Defense on February 3, 2026.
The delegation comprised Prof. Hauwa Abdu, Dr. Jummai Abdullahi, Nr. Abdulhamid Bukar, Auwal Ahmed Umar, Gidado Kumo, and Dr. M.S. Abubakar, Secretary of the Board.
The purpose of this strategic visit was to extend congratulations to General CG Musa Rtd upon his appointment as Minister and establish a strong working relationship with the Ministry of Defense.
As a registered charity organization based in Maiduguri, Kalthum Foundation for Peace focuses on SGBV, CVE, women empowerment, girl-child education, medical services, among other initiatives.
